Trektober 2020!
I’m participating in the Trektober 2020 challenge as posted over at ![[tumblr.com profile]](https://www.tumblr.com/favicon.ico)

Anyway, I thought I’d share my fills for each prompt here as I complete them. I’ve been really pushing myself with a few of these prompts so far, which has definitely given me some creative inspiration.
DAY 1: Mirror Universe
For day 1, I made a playlist of songs I feel fit the tone of the Mirror Universe.
WARNING: There’s songs with some violent imagery/lyrics and one song has swearing.
DAY 2: Caring for a Child
I wrote a fic for this prompt that was a bit personal. I drew on some of my experience going through post-partum depression and applied it to Beverly Crusher in the months after Wesley is born. While I didn’t go quite as far as what I experienced, there’s still enough going on that it could potentially be a trigger.
DAY 3: Wedding Crashers
Following the novel canon, I wrote a fic involving Q set at Picard and Crusher’s unseen wedding. I discovered that there’s a novel that did this already, but I definitely have a different take on it. I also took some liberties with Q’s characterization and I’m not sure if it quite works, but oh well.
DAY 4: Sex in a Vehicle
So fair warming, this fic is explicit and a bit of a PWP. This is actually the first explicit fic I’ve written and I’m actually kind of happy with how it worked out. The backstory for this is some friends and I were discussing what the Kelvin timeline version of TNG would look like and so this is something I feel would happen in that universe.

I decided to switch gears and go with Voyager for this one. I made a fanmixbased on the 2020 appropriate episode Resolutions which features Janeway and Chakotay having to quarantine themselves on a secluded planet.
